Continuing Education

The Continuing Education program of the University of Sydney provides stimulating courses to the general public in subjects across the research spectrum of the University. This is a means of keeping the community in touch with modern research, and to make available opportunities for further education. In 1992 Mick Pope, a PhD student in the RCfTA, co-ordinated a new Continuing Education course, based on the best-selling book The New Physics by Professor Paul Davies, of the University of Adelaide. The course proved so popular that it was run twice in 1993. Several members of the RCfTA gave lectures for the course. Involvement by members of the RCfTA in the 1993 Continuing Education Program is detailed below.
