In the event of an incident where a user's computer is stolen/lost, needs service/replacement, etc a temporary computer can be assigned till the users own computer is available.
We have a limited number of computers to cover these 'emergencies' and maintain continuity for users. For assistance please submit a Request for Help✦.
Currently, loan computer are USyd imaged Windows laptops.
For other loan requests relating to research, temporary staff, special cases where a computer may be required for several months to a year we may be able to provide a spare computer if available. If no stock is available please speak to the School Manager or check UniBuy options for purchase. Computers marked as 'Buffer Stock' are stocked on site in USyd for a rapid pick up.
