ALBERT YUE-LING WONG

Mr Wong is a former stockbroker, corporate adviser and investment banker with over 20 years experience in the finance industry. He was admitted as a member of ASX in 1988 (subsequently a member of SDIA). He was the principal of stockbroker Intersuisse Limited until 1995 before establishing listed boutique investment house Barton Capital, including eStar Online Trading (now known as RIMCapital and Infracorp respectively).

In 2001, Mr Wong was invited by Ernst & Young to participate in the inaugural Entrepreneur of the Year awards. He relinquished his executive duties of the Barton Capital group of companies in late 2002. Since that time, he has acquired a strategic stake in computer games software developer Blue Tongue Entertainment. This was subsequently sold to major US publishing house, THQ Inc.

Currently, Mr Wong has a majority stake in Tambour Holdings Pty Limited, a private investment company with an Australian Financial Services Licence. In addition to his involvement with the University of New South Wales (UNSW Foundation), Mr Wong is also a Committee Member of the Messel Endowment Capital Campaign and was made an honorary Life Governor of the Science Foundation for Physics at the University of Sydney for his services in 2004.
