It was demonstrated that periodic pause occurs for dust clusters with small number of particles This is especially true for planar-2 cluster where we see mostly oscillatory motion from it phase diagram. And as the magnetic field increases, the periodic pause becomes dominated by uniform rotational motion as shown from the circular trace in the phase diagram.
We also showed with phase surface diagram that, in general, the angular velocity increases steeply with magnetic field strength for clusters with small number of particles. However, for multi-ring cluster such as planar-10, we see a saturation in the angular velocity. This is shown with the almost cylindrical shape of the phase surface.
